Spiritual blindness can be described as the inability to ‘see, understand or perceive’ spiritual truths. Simply put it this way that it is lack of spiritual insight or understanding. The Lenten season reminds us of what Jesus went through to bring us out of spiritual darkness. He was the true Light which the world did not receive
(John 1:9-11).
Despite all that Jesus did and taught, the Scribes and the Pharisees were yet to understand the true identity of Jesus notwithstanding their claims of the knowledge of the Father. There are so many causes associated with spiritual blindness but for the purpose of this discuss, I will identify the causes of spiritual blindness to be the ‘traditions of men’ showing up in their observance of the law (Romans 2:17-20) and also operating in the natural (1 Corinthians 2:14).
Are we not spiritually bind when after being in the church for several years of which we are yet to hear and keep God’s words? Or are we not still come short of His salvation? Now can also be your turning point. It is not too late to reconcile with God.
