Olivia Munn's
entrance into Hollywood was born out of inspiration from a familiar
'80s TV character — and at the time, she didn't even know it. "I've
always wanted to be an actress since I was a little girl, since I was
watching Punky Brewster," she tells Us Weekly. "When I found out she was an actress, that's what I wanted to do." And with nothing more than hope and a handy guide to launching an acting
career, Munn, 34, set out on a long journey to make her dreams come
true. "I packed up and drove myself out from Oklahoma to California,"
she said. "I had one book — it was called An Actor's Guide to Moving to Hollywood." After finding her place on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart show as a correspondent in 2010, and later conquering TV and film, The Newsroom actress embarked on a new endeavor: being an author, releasing Suck It, Wonder Woman!
"I wanted to write a collection of short stories about my life," Munn, who's dated quarterback Aaron Rogers since May 2014 explained. "I wrote it in a way that if my 13-year-old self could write a letter to me now, and I correspond back to her."
