Gen. Buhari this morning January 7th went to the hospital to visit some members of APC who were allegedly shot during his presidential campaign in Port Harcourt yesterday January 6th.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on their vehicle around 5.30am yesterday while the APC members were on their way to Buhari's campaign ground at Adokiye Amasiemaka Stadium in Omagwa, Ikwerre Local Government Area. One person was killed while the others were rushed to the hospital.

The Presidential candidate of the APC, Gen Muhammadu Buhari rtd, says he will send corrupt Nigerians to Kirikiri maximum prison when he assumes office. The former Military head of state said this while kicking off his presidential campaign in Port Harcourt the Rivers state capital yesterday
"When we come into power, anyone who steals Nigerian money will end up in Kirikiri Maximum Prisons. We are going to make sure that Nigeria’s wealth belongs only to Nigerians,” he said
