In just three episodes of the second half of Total Divas Season 3, we’ve really
gotten to know newest cast addition and WWE Diva Paige. The sassy
brunette is quite different from the rest of the ladies, from her dark
hair and pale skin to her British accent, and we’re loving the way she’s
shaking things up!
Already, we’ve seen Paige throw Nattie into a tizzy after she made overly sexual and flirty moves in the wrestling ring – they’ve since drawn a truce… for now — and the 22-year-old bombshell tells Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively that there’s plenty more craziness to come. In fact, she and her fellow single gals, fellow newbie Alicia Fox and returning wrestler Rosa, are showing fans just what it’s like to be in the dating scene while being a Diva, and let’s just say it can get a little rowdy.
And if that’s not enough intrigue for ya, what if we tell you that Paige got the normally cool and collected Brie Bella to let loose and go into full on “Brie Mode”? Just you wait. Read on for all the scoop!
Wetpaint Entertainment: Congrats on Total Divas! How did you decide to join the cast?
Paige: [WWE and E! producers] had been trying to get me on for a while. It was more me that was stubborn, but they explained that they wanted someone different for a Diva — someone younger, single, that kind of thing. So I thought, ‘You know what, this is an opportunity and I’m just going to take it and run with it.’ I love working with these girls anyway, so it’s so much fun.
What was your relationship with the other Divas before going on the show?
I had met the girls but I didn’t really know them too well, so this show has brought us together. Right now, they’re really good friends. But at the start it was sort of like me, Alicia Fox, and Rosa the world.
What do you think the reason for that divide was?
You just find the people that you click with and stick by them. You don’t mean to create any kind of trouble or animosity, it just happens. It was nothing with the other girls, I just bonded more with Foxy and Rosa.
Are you closer with the rest of the cast now?
Towards the end of this season, I built this great relationship with Brie. She’s one of my favorite people now. [I get along with] pretty much all of them, but Brie’s my girl, so you’ll see a lot with her. I got to see this “Brie mode” that I hadn’t seen before… You’ll also see there are couples, but I get them in trouble when I take them out with me. I’m a bad influence.
Sounds wild! Will we see a lot of the you going out on the town this season?
Yeah, that’s what I like about me, Foxy, and Rosa is the fact that we are single, which is different to the show. The stuff that couples don’t do, we do. We do a lot of stuff spur of the moment, even when the cameras are on. We like that we can bring that to the TV, as well. There’s this one guy that I like .. there’s a lot of ups and downs with different people. None of us are married, so we have a good time.
Anyone special we’ll see in your romantic life?
During the season there was a guy that I may or may not get close to. I’m just more interested in my career and being single. I’m also not the type to open up about my feelings, I’m like a dude.
