secondary school results, and confirmed that the military duly noted
that Mr. Buhari obtained the requisite WASC qualifications.
It also obtained and published a print out from the University of Cambridge.
In a story last night, SaharaReporters reported that while Nigerian Army spokesperson Brigadier General Olajide Laleye was addressing a press conference on Tuesday to announce that the army could not find the general’s school leaving certificate in its records.
Premium Times sources also confirmed that while Laleye was addressing the media, the Department of Military Secretary had despatched to Buhari his academic records, which had been requested by the retired general.

Premium Times exclusively obtained the secondary school certificate examination
results of Gen. Buhari from the Government College, formerly Provincial
Secondary School, Katsina, where he graduated from in 1961. The results,
according to PT, confirms Buhari’s claim that he undertook the
University of Cambridge West African School Certificate Examinations and
obtained five credits in English Language, Geography, Hausa Language,
History, and Health Science.
