Will Smith just did something shocking on the set of his new flick Concussion —
he served up an amazing catered lunch for the entire cast and crew! A
meal fit for A-listers, the lunch featured lobster tail, filet mignon,
prime rib, and much more.
TMZ has pics of the delicious looking meal, which is definitely way nicer than what's normally served up at the craft services table. TMZ notes that they don't know if Will actually paid out of pocket for this feast or if the studio footed the bill, but Will was definitely in charge of throwing the event, so it seems safe to assume that it was (at the very least) his generous idea.
So what was the crew's reaction? According to TMZ, they absolutely loved it. Who wouldn't love to have their Tuesday workday spiced up with some of the fanciest foods around? TMZ also says that the entire crew called Will one of the nicest people they've ever worked with. Even better? Some of them noted that they'd worked with Will 15 years ago, and claim the megastar hasn't changed, despite his ever growing fame. We knew there was a reason we love him!
As for the film itself, Concussion is based on the real life story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the pathologist who discovered that some former football players have a brain injury known as chronic traumatic encephalopathy — something that has led to a lot of controversy in real life. Will plays the good doctor.
