International airline passengers are being warned to prepare for long delays as customs and immigration staff strike for 24-hours in Australia.
Pensioners, welfare recipients and Medicare users will also be affected, with staff from Centrelink, Medicare and twelve other federal government departments and agencies join the border protection staff in the action.
The public servants are protesting a two-year wage freeze.
