A New Zealand man has been killed in a violent stabbing in Perth at the weekend.
A woman has been charged with murder after the death of the 41-year-old former Motueka man in a suburban home in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were called to the Maddington property after reports a man had been stabbed.
He was taken to Perth Royal Hospital in a critical condition but died a short time later.
Relatives of the man have created a Facebook page to raise money to bring him back to New Zealand for a tangi and burial.
It has been described as a domestic incident on the page.
Many have expressed their shock and grief at the tragedy.
