Normally when you hear about Borno State in Nigeria, what first comes to mind is Boko Haram and terrorism. The incumbent governor, Ali Modu Sheriff has however changed the narrative of the war-torn state.
Pictures circulating online of the projects he has allegedly completed in the state will leave you transfixed. Schools, estates and state of the art hospitals were apparently commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari today before he left the country for the United Kingdom.
