On this day in 2010, the news of President Umaru Yar'adua's death swept through Nigeria. The den sick President was flown into the country under the cover of darkness and was buried immediately.
Vice President Goodluck Jonathan took over power and governed the country till 2015.

Today, he took to Twitter to mourn the death of Yar'adua with a thread on Twitter.
