#ZlatanIsAScam Trends As Nigerians React To Singer's N250k Giveaway

Zlatan Ibile, real name, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, is a Nigerian indigenous rapper and dancer most popular for pioneering the Zanku dance style in the Nigerian music industry.
He recently released a song with Tiwa Savage titled Shotan which made a lot of waves about a month back but he is back on social media trends for a totally different reason.

Yesterday, he took to his Twitter page to announce a giveaway of N250k to a lucky follower by 12am but did not follow through.

He later moved it to 12:30am and many fans dropped their account numbers but still yet no one was picked as a winner.

His fans became antsy and started the trend #ZlatanIsAScam.

Claiming banking app difficulties, the artiste did not send the money to the lucky follower till the early hours of this morning.
