Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has ruled out any possibility of taking over the Germany national team, insisting that he is fully committed to the Reds.
Klopp has been heavily linked with the Germany job after the dismissal of Hansi Flick However, the 56-year-old has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Liverpool, where he has a contract until 2026.
Speaking to the media Klopp said: “You can’t just cut out the last eight years. I signed a contract here and, as far as I can remember, I wasn’t drugged or tied up when I signed it… my clear decision.
“I am committed to loyalty to Liverpool. My heart is here in Liverpool.”
Klopp joined Liverpool in 2015 and has led them to several trophies, including the Premier League, the Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. He is widely regarded as one of the best managers in the world and has a strong bond with the fans and the players.
Klopp will be hoping to guide Liverpool to another successful season, starting with a win over Milan at Anfield on Wednesday night. The Reds are currently top of the Premier League table with four wins out of four.
