A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, Prince Daniel Omolola, has dismissed a rumour of hobnobbing with the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Conversely, Omolola said his campaign team remains unwavering and would not condescend to prowl for resources in the forthcoming Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency bye-election.
The party Chieftain made the clarification in a statement obtained by our Correspondent on Sunday.
The statement read, “I want to take a moment to address the recent rumors circulating regarding our campaign and the upcoming by-election in the Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency.
“Let me assure you, without a doubt, that we are not sponsored by Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo (BTO) or any other individual or group. Our campaign stands strong with its own principles, resources, and determination to secure victory in this important election.
“I understand that rumors can create unnecessary panic and uncertainty. Therefore, I urge you all, my esteemed supporters, to remain calm and steadfast in our cause. Remember that such rumors often stem from the depths of negativity and can be devoid of truth.
“Our journey towards victory is fueled by our collective strength, resilience, and unwavering belief in our ability to make a difference. Together, we possess the mindset and resources needed to triumph in this by-election and bring about positive change for the Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency.
“Let us continue to focus on our goals and work diligently to garner support from the electorate. We are not shaken by baseless rumors; rather, we emerge stronger and even more determined to succeed.
