Employees of the former Ministry of Women Affairs were seen celebrating following the dismissal of Minister Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye on Wednesday.
As reported By politicsnigeria.com, in a video shared on the social media platform X by APC chieftain Abubakar Sidiq Usman, workers were captured dancing in the office hallways, chanting "finally" in reaction to the minister's removal.
Kennedy-Ohanenye was one of five ministers relieved of their duties during the Federal Executive Council meeting. Others include Lola Ade-John (Tourism), Jamila Bio Ibrahim (Youth Development), Tahir Mamman (Education), and Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo (Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development).
This move is part of President Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to tackle national challenges, marked by a recent cabinet reshuffle aimed at enhancing governance.
