I stand as proof that God is not done with me - Nigerian woman marks one year since she lost a leg to cancer

A Nigerian woman, Oluwaseunfunmi Akindeko, has marked the first anniversary of her survival after battling cancer which led to her losing one of her legs. 

 

“One year ago today, I lost my leg to cancer. The enemy’s plan was not just for me to lose my leg, but for me to be buried. But Today I stand as proof that God is not done with me. That his mercy speaks louder than any verdict of the enemy. Thank you lord Jesus,” she wrote on Sunday, February 16, 2025.
