2023 Election: Picking Ifeanyi Okowa As PDP Vice Presidential Candidate To Atiku Abubakar Was A Mistake - Senator Abba Moro

 Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, has blamed the defeat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election on the choice of former governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, as the running mate to its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Moro who stated this during an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday also described the choice of Okowa as a “serious mistake”.



The Senator representing Benue South at the National Assembly further lambasted Okowa over his claim that he regretted being the PDP vice presidential candidate.



Moro said Okowa 's inability to have ensured victory for PDP in Delta in the presidential election showed that his “soul” was not in the party.

Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor Sheriff oborevwori and many other PDP stakeholders have dumped the PDP for the APC on Monday
