…to commission projects, discuss security
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to begin a two-day official visit to Katsina State on Friday, May 2, 2025, with a focus on addressing pressing security concerns and advancing developmental efforts in the region.
According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the visit will feature high-level engagements with local stakeholders to assess the current security situation and devise strategies to enhance peace and stability.
As part of his itinerary, President Tinubu will commission two significant infrastructure projects completed under the administration of Governor Dikko Umar Radda—the Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre and a newly completed 24-kilometre dual carriageway.
The President is also expected to attend the wedding ceremony of Governor Radda’s daughter before returning to Abuja.
