The Managing Director of Parallex Bank, Dr Olufemi Bakre, has praised the enthusiasm and commitment displayed by trainees during the bank’s intensive development programme.
In a statement issued by the Head of Corporate Communications, Mr Ademola Adeshola, Dr Bakre congratulated the 52 young professionals who graduated on Thursday from the second cohort of the Limitless Banking Academy in Lagos.
He described the event as a testament to the bank’s dedication to empowering young people and nurturing future leaders.
Addressing the graduates, Bakre encouraged them to carry the values of Limitless Banking into their careers and remain steadfast in integrity.
“This is more than just a graduation ceremony—it’s the beginning of your journey as ambassadors of our purpose,” he said.
Executives, mentors, and the graduates’ families were present to celebrate their achievement.
Participants underwent comprehensive training in areas such as digital banking, customer experience, compliance, innovation, and leadership—skills essential for navigating today’s fast-evolving financial sector.
The Limitless Banking Academy first launched in 2023, with its inaugural cohort producing 55 graduates.
Guest speaker, Dr Seye Awojobi, urged the young professionals to pursue excellence with steady discipline and perseverance.
“Excellence is not built on grand gestures alone, but on deliberate, consistent actions,” Awojobi said.
He described the academy as a strategic investment by Parallex Bank to drive innovation and empower Nigerian youth for the future of banking.
“These graduates are now equipped to shape the future of financial services in Nigeria,” he added.
