The Lagos State House of Assembly has congratulated Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu on the occasion of his 60th birthday, commending his leadership style and impact on the state’s development.
The lawmakers described Governor Sanwo-Olu’s six decades on earth as a journey marked by purpose, integrity, and transformation in Lagos.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the House Committee on Information, Strategy and Security, Hon. Stephen Ogundipe, the Assembly extended its warm wishes on behalf of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Principal Officers, and other members of the Assembly.
The statement reads partly: “On this special day, on behalf of our leader and Speaker, Rt Hon (Dr) Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Principal Officers and Distinguished colleagues, I rejoice with His Excellency, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on attaining 60 years in the land of the living.”

Obasa praised the Governor’s unwavering commitment to Lagos, describing him as a visionary leader whose actions consistently reflect a deep understanding of good governance and inclusive development.
Highlighting key achievements under Sanwo-Olu’s administration, Obasa lauded his role in sustaining the growth of Lagos State, adding that thed Governor’s approach to politics and governance continues to inspire confidence in public service.
While wishing the Governor continued strength and wisdom, the House noted that turning 60 is not just a reflection of the past but a fresh opportunity for new goals and achievements.
