Vice President Shettima, Top Dignitaries Attend Wedding Fatiha of Transportation Minister’s Son



Abuja, Nigeria – July 4, 2025 – The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, led a host of high-profile dignitaries to the wedding Fatiha of the son of the Honourable Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, held today, July 4, 2025.

The well-attended ceremony drew prominent figures from across Nigeria’s political and administrative landscape, signifying the high regard in which the Minister is held.



In attendance were the Governors of Kaduna, Katsina, and Gombe States, as well as former Gombe State Governor, Senator Danjuma Goje. Also present was the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Land Transport, Senator Adamu Aliero, alongside other distinguished members of the National Assembly.

The event was also graced by top officials from the Federal Ministry of Transportation, including the Director Overseeing the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Musa Ibrahim, and several senior government functionaries and stakeholders.



The ceremony, marked by prayers, cultural display, and celebration, was held in an atmosphere of unity and festivity as well-wishers from across the country gathered to celebrate with the Alkali family.
