AIG pledges improved welfare for police officers in Katsina and Kaduna

 The Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG), Zone 14, Aliyu Abubakar-Musa, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the welfare of police officers in Katsina and Kaduna States, aiming to boost their morale in the fight against insecurity.

Abubakar-Musa made the remarks during the inauguration of a newly renovated lodge for officers on special duty at the 27 PMF Squadron Base in Katsina. The refurbishment was made possible through the philanthropic contribution of Alhaji Muhammad Ladan, CEO of Broadlink Nigeria Limited.



Expressing gratitude to the benefactor, the AIG emphasized that such initiatives would significantly enhance officers’ motivation and operational efficiency in the zone. He also commended the Commanding Officer of the 27 PMF Squadron, ACP Adamu Sambo, for spearheading the project to improve personnel welfare, noting that it aligned with his vision for the zone.

The Commissioner of Police in Katsina State, Bello Shehu, represented by DCP Aminu Usman, Department of Finance and Administration, encouraged officers to make judicious use of the facility. He also urged members of the public to emulate such philanthropic gestures to further support police efforts in combating insecurity.
