The Director of Youths Mobilization for the ASDN (ALL SOUTHERN DECIDES NETWORK), Comr. Sotu Godbless Oghenevwede, have commended the stance of former President Goodluck Jonathan on the alleged plot to get him into the race for 2027. President GEJ has been reported to have rejected the call, describing it as selfish and an attempt to scuttle the second term bid of the South.
Commending, the former President, Comr. Sotu Godbless said "This is not just a principled decision, but one that reflects the yearning of the entire Southern Nigeria."
He however, reiterate the readiness of the youths of the entire Southern Nigeria to stand firm in pursuing to the end; the retainship of the Presidency in Southern Nigeria; Preferably with the incumbent President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who hasn't just stabilized the country's economy but has set Nigeria on a part of unprecedented positive reforms and results within a short period.
When asked, how is the ASDN bracing up for the challenges ahead, he said " the ASDN is currently sensitizing our people via cells of grassroots mobilizers, as well as engaging strategic stakeholders across the Southern region to actualize this aim. We are not going to stop now, but also follow through to ensure that our people stand behind a Northerner in 2031. This is what is just for a nation as diverse as ours and this is what will guarantee fairness, equity and trust going forward."
We have very committed persons in this movement starting from our DG, a South-South Amazon, Amb. Victoria Uko, but it's not really about us alone, but about the generality of our people and the decisions taken by the Stakeholders of the region.
Speaking further he commended and thanked patriots from Northern Nigeria who are also in alignment with this pursuit. Stating that they are true heroes and posterity will be kind to them.
