Awka, Anambra State – February 12, 2026 — Prominent Anambra State billionaire businessmen Mr. Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa (CEO of Zenco Oil) and Chief Christian Okonkwo (CEO of C-Energy Oil), together with popular nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana, celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest, and several other associates, have donated a fleet of luxury buses valued at several hundred million naira to bolster President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The donation was officially handed over to CityBoyMedia, a media and mobilisation platform closely affiliated with the City Boy Movement—a youth-driven socio-political and entertainment network known for its strong grassroots influence in the Southeast and beyond. The buses are intended to enhance logistics, voter mobilisation, awareness campaigns, and grassroots outreach efforts in support of President Tinubu’s anticipated second-term bid.
Sources close to the donors confirmed that the gesture reflects both personal admiration for President Tinubu’s leadership style and a strategic effort to deepen political support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Southeast, a region that has historically been challenging terrain for the ruling party. The handover ceremony, which took place in a private event in Anambra, was attended by key figures from the business, entertainment, and political communities.
Mr. Cletus Uzoezie Oragwa, founder of Zenco Oil—a major player in the downstream petroleum sector—and Chief Christian Okonkwo of C-Energy Oil, have long been recognised as influential business moguls in Anambra with extensive networks across commerce, philanthropy, and community development.
