It is no longer news that ever since Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori assumed office as Governor of Delta State, it has been one project to the other, and he ensures that every project awarded is properly executed to suit not just the taste of his administration but the popular taste of Deltans.
It is crystal clear that Delta State since the emergence of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has experienced immense and breathtaking sustainable development in all sectors of the state economy thereby ensuring that no stone is left unturned as the happiness of Deltans is billed to be accomplished in accordance to the administration's "Renewed Hope For More" mantra.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is obviously a God sent. He has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is poised to serving the good people of Delta State diligently, efficiently and productively. His administration keened to sustainable development has matched the peak of expectations as Deltans are singing his praises, even though as they ask for more, hence the need for him to go back as governor for a second term without anyone having to contest the position with him due to his fruitful leadership anchored on transparency, accountability and honesty.
Some of the executed and ongoing projects in Delta State remained clear to all even as the people keep yearning for more and Governor Oborevwori being a listening governor is on the right track to always match words with action anytime and in accordance to the expectations of his people.
Some of the multi billion Naira projects recently embarked upon by the state government and are currently ongoing are as follow:
The Otovwodo flyover in Ughelli: This project which came to the people of Ughelli North local government area of Delta State as a surprise didn't just bring about a sigh of relief but to the entire state as the governor who is truly concerned about the wellbeing and safety of all has made it mandatory to device means to ensure free movement of commuters, goods and services across the state as it has become pertinent to note that Deltans deserve the best and the best is what the governor is making sure they get. The Otovwodo flyover project is currently ongoing and soon it will be ready for use which will boost the economic fortune of the state in all angles.
The Agbor/Uromi junction flyover: This is the latest flyover project recently approved by the Delta State government and has already been flagged off by His Excellency Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori. The project situated in Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State would certainly boost the economic fortune of the region, not just in Agbor but its entire environs. The flyover which connects Delta State and Edo state would ensure free movement of commuters and goods and services as traffic and slow movement will be a thing of the past in the coming few months.
The Delta State government under the leadership of Rt Hon Elder Sheriff Oborevwori is working round the clock in making sure that Delta state wears a new look of sustainable development and the recent approval of the Two (2) gigantic flyover projects in the state says it all as billions of Naira have been earmarked for these projects.
However, as these projects keep attracting encomium to the governor, more are still coming even as others in different sectors are ongoing across the state. The Renewed Hope For More of the Oborevwori's administration is committed to providing an atmosphere where businesses thrive smoothly and a state that is capable enough to accommodate investors from all walks of life.
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a working governor who should be nicknamed " TALK AND DO" because of his fervent and consistent efforts in pushing for the development of the state always without getting tired.
Delta State is blessed to have a governor in the person of Sheriff Oborevwori whose concern each day is to make sure that something is done to facelift the state in either any of the sectors and this action has earned him the position of the most outstanding governor in the Niger Delta region and South-South as a whole.
Even as the governor is keened to putting smiles on the faces of Deltans, we as a people should lend him all the possible support we can to make sure that the Delta State of our dreams is achieved. The governor has started it and we should all follow suit by constantly praying for God's continued guidance and protection upon him and his entire team for all of our aspirations to be met.
Delta State is coasting to becoming one of the most developing states in Nigeria and the most developed in the Niger Delta region, hence our working governor is not relenting as he continues to utilize all available resources for the good of Deltans anytime and any day.
