EFFURUN, NIGERIA — The Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Area in Delta State, Chief Anthony Onoriode Ofoni JP, has extended his warm congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following his resounding victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election.
President Tinubu secured a massive mandate for his second-term bid, polling an overwhelming 10,999,162 votes to defeat his sole challenger, Stanley Osifo, who garnered 16,505 votes. Following the official declaration, the President was presented with his Certificate of Return, cementing his position as the APC flagbearer for the upcoming 2027 general election.
In a statement released to the press, Chief Ofoni praised the democratic process that led to the President's sweeping victory, describing the 10.9 million votes as a clear validation of the administration's Renewed Hope agenda by party faithful across the nation.
