The Director-General of Team Siakpere for Oborevwori, Mr. John Siakpere, JP, Esq., has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on his emergence as the sole governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the development as a reflection of the governor’s leadership credentials and developmental strides across the state.
Siakpere, an Aghalokpe-born United Kingdom-based businessman and political mobiliser, said Governor Oborevwori’s emergence did not come as a surprise given what he described as the governor’s remarkable contributions to the growth, stability and development of Delta State.
In a statement made available to newsmen, the Team Siakpere for Oborevwori Director-General said the governor had, through purposeful leadership and strategic governance initiatives, earned the confidence and support of party members and stakeholders across the state.
According to him, Oborevwori’s emergence as the APC’s sole governorship candidate demonstrates the widespread acceptance of his administration’s policies and programmes, particularly in infrastructure development, economic growth, human capital advancement and grassroots empowerment.
He noted that Governor Oborevwori had continued to demonstrate commitment to inclusive governance and sustainable development, adding that his leadership style had strengthened public trust and enhanced political stability in Delta State.
“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate is well deserved and a reflection of his dedication to the progress and prosperity of Delta State. His developmental strides and people-oriented leadership have continued to resonate across communities,” Siakpere stated.
He further urged members of the APC and supporters of the governor to remain united and committed ahead of future political engagements, stressing that unity within the party remained critical to consolidating developmental gains in the state.
Siakpere also commended party leaders and stakeholders for fostering an atmosphere of cohesion and consensus that led to the governor’s emergence, describing it as a positive signal for the future of the APC in Delta State.
Reaffirming Team Siakpere’s support for Governor Oborevwori, the UK-based businessman pledged continued mobilisation and grassroots engagement to sustain support for the governor’s vision for Delta State.
