Following the official declaration of the results, the Executive Chairman of Uvwie Local Government Council, Honorable Chief Anthony Onoriode Ofoni JP, extended his warmest and most heartfelt congratulations to the President, describing the sweeping victory as a validation of Tinubu's grassroots popularity and visionary leadership.
The official primary results were announced on Saturday evening in Asaba, the state capital, by the Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. The announcement followed the successful collation of figures gathered from the decentralized voting centers across the state's three senatorial districts.

Out of this registered base, 407,646 party faithful were accredited and actively participated in the direct primary process. Declaring the definitive outcome of the internal election, Governor Oborevwori stated: "By the powers conferred on me as the State Coordinator and Returning Officer, I hereby declare that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, having polled overwhelming votes in the presidential primary election, is hereby declared winner and returned elected as the presidential candidate of the party."
The declaration was made under the direct observation of federal security agencies, independent media organizations, and critical political stakeholders. Present at the collation center to witness the final validation were the official agent for President Tinubu, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon; the agent representing Mr. Stanley Osifo, Mr. Kelvin Ezekiel; and the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Sir Etekamba Udo Umoren.
Governor Oborevwori commended ordinary party members and institutional leaders for maintaining absolute order and peace throughout the voting window, describing the smooth logistics as a testament to internal party unity and democratic maturity. Mirroring this sentiment, the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, expressed immense gratitude to the various organizing committees for delivering a credible process without internal friction.
Arenyeka noted that the presidential exercise marked the definitive climax of a comprehensive internal electoral cycle that spanned weeks of voting for House of Representatives, Senate, House of Assembly, and Governorship candidacies. He thanked the membership for their resilience, stating that the successful conclusion of the primaries sets a solid foundation for the party's upcoming national political activities.
Reacting to the landslide victory from the Uvwie administrative headquarters, the council boss, Chief Anthony Onoriode Ofoni, released an extensive congratulatory message praising the absolute consensus demonstrated by Delta APC members. Ofoni emphasized that the zero-vote outcome for the opposition within the party proved that the Niger Delta region remains deeply aligned with the economic reforms and renewal agenda spearheaded by the current administration. He noted that the overwhelming mandate given to the President across the state sends a clear message of stability and trust in federal policies.
Chief Ofoni further remarked that the peaceful atmosphere recorded across the local governments during the primary election cycle reflects the administrative competence of the state leadership and the determination of the grassroots to protect democratic stability. He stated that the result from Uvwie and other parts of the state shows a collective desire for progress, urging all party factions to unite behind the President's validated candidacy to ensure a dominant performance in the subsequent general elections.
The Uvwie council chairman also used the opportunity to reinforce his administration’s commitment to aligning local governance with broader state and federal growth plans. Chief Ofoni stated that grassroot leaders play a critical role in interpreting national visions to the local populace, adding that the political maturity displayed by voters in Delta State will inspire even greater dedication to infrastructure development, social welfare, and community empowerment initiatives within the Uvwie Local Government Area.
