Ugbomro, Uvwie LGA - In a resounding show of solidarity, Hon. Otamabor Tedafe Olughor, Chairman of the Ugbomro Development Committee and Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to the Executive Governor of Delta State, widely known as General Putin, has congratulated the incumbent Senator and Delta Central candidate on his commanding victory in Monday’s direct primary held on 18th May 2026.
The verdict from the polls was swift, emphatic, and unambiguous. Across Delta Central, the electorate delivered a clear mandate, choosing continuity over conjecture, competence over convenience, and credibility over crowd noise.
“This is not merely a win,” General Putin remarked. “It is a validation of verifiable performance, a vindication of visible service, and a victory forged in the furnace of grassroots trust. Senator Dafinone has once again proven that results resonate louder than rhetoric.”
Describing the outcome as a “green light for greater representation” and a “golden seal of approval” from the people, General Putin commended the Senator for running a campaign rooted in reach, responsibility, and responsiveness to community needs.
“Delta Central has chosen a voice that speaks, a hand that serves, and a heart that stays with the people. That is the kind of representation that builds bridges, breaks barriers, and births progress,” he said.
General Putin reaffirmed his commitment to work hand-in-hand with the Senator, Governor Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and all stakeholders to ensure that Ugbomro and the wider Uvwie LGA continue to rise within the framework of the MORE Agenda.
He called on all APC members and well-meaning citizens to close ranks, consolidate the gains, and translate this momentum into measurable development for youths, traders, farmers, and families across the district.
“History has spoken, and Delta Central has answered. Now is the time to build, to bolster, and to boldly deliver the dividends of democracy.”
General Putin concluded with prayers for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance upon the Senator as he prepares for the next phase of service to the people of Delta Central.
