Another significant event in horse racing is the Breeders Cup, which is a series of races that attracts the best horses in a variety of categories. Horses show their athletic ability in other competitions as well. Equestrian is a more controlled sport that features horses maneuvering through a course and performing various jumps. Horses aren’t the only animal that competes in sports. Though not as popular, dog racing has a loyal base of fans.
