All the prophesies of the Messiah by all the prophets have been fulfilled, beginning with the seed of the woman having His heel bruised (Genesis 3:15) and continuing with all the sacrifices pointing to the sufferings of Christ which are also described by King David (Psalm 22; Isaiah 53:1-12) and others; He has fulfilled the prophesies. Had it been that the people knew Jesus as the Christ, they might not have helped to kill Him. But whether they knew or not, they had committed a terrible sin and needed to repent. Ignorance is not an excuse. We are accountable for our sins, but the Good News gives us hope of forgiveness. God’s mercy can cover all our sins whether done deliberately or in ignorance. God fulfilled what He had foretold through the prophets.
Suffice it to note however that two things are really necessary for forgiveness. The first considered, to be really necessary for forgiveness is repentance because there is necessity for change of conduct towards sin by changing the mindset for better morally. The second to be noted and considered to be really necessary for forgiveness after repentance is to be converted because after change of conduct, there should be the possibility of turning to the right ways of doing things by following the instructions and ordinances of God in Jesus Christ through His teachings and love.
I will admonish you if you have not repented to do so therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out. I don’t need to start counting things which are considered to be sinful here when I know you know what is considered wrong and what is considered right. I will be very happy if you have repented from your wrong ways of doing things and living to that which Jesus wants and expects of you. Have you confess and repent of your sins? If yes, expect refreshing from the presence of the Lord because all things will work out for your good. Your life will be worth living for Christ and all your desires in Christ Jesus will be taken care of.
