This is something serious because I want to know the person that died and resurrected. Can even someone die and resurrect? I don’t think it is possible. Who have you seen that has died and resurrected? If at all you have seen, how did the person die? I don’t know of any but if you say you know, then tell me. Although, I know of only one person and that person is so special among others and His ways is unique and very perfect to many that know Him. This person is no other person than the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, The Precious Lamb of God who is known to many with a sweet wonderful name that sound in a believer’s ear as Jesus Christ. What do you think would be the purpose of His death and resurrection?
The crucifixion of Jesus Christ fulfilled the word of the prophets (Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22) and His resurrection is proved by many witnesses (1 Corinthians 15:1-2, Luke 24). His purpose was to save mankind from the slavery of sin and the influence of Satan the Devil and his agents of darkness and evil. The rejection of Jesus Christ by the Jewish leaders was as a result of the leader’s lack of recognition of their Messiah and their lack of true understanding of the messianic prophesies relating to the sufferings of the Lord’s servants (Acts 13:27-29). The resurrection of Jesus Christ was God’s Act because God raised Him from the dead. Consequently, the resurrection of Jesus Christ made the preaching of the Gospel possible. The incredible is made credible by the reliable witness of the early Apostles. The basic fact of the resurrection of Jesus Christ is proved by references to the Psalms and Isaiah.
God’s purposes of blessing through the son is linked with David as it was announced in Psalm 2:7 and Isaiah 55:3 that the Messiah who saw no corruption was prophesied in Psalm 16:10 “And through this man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by law of Moses “.
You can have your sins forgiven or blotted away now by believing in Him, confessing and forsaking your sins. It is my prayer for you that the Lord should give you the grace to trust and obey Him so that your life can be transformed for good.
