Brasilia, Feb 16 (Prensa Latina) Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff,
stressed the importance of protecting and defending children and
adolescents against any violation of their rights, especially during the
Carnival season.

before any adverse situation people ought to dial the phone number 100
for reporting on human rights violations and to children.Protecting children and adolescents during these celebrations is essential; do not look away, the head of state points out in her message.
The call is made days after the Secretary of Human Rights of the Presidency of the Republic launched a national campaign to End Violence with the slogan 'Do not look away, keep watching. Denounce. Protect our children and adolescents from violence'.
