The United States has dismissed claims that it predicted the split of
Nigeria in 2015 because of its current socio-political problems.
While dismissing the claims, it stated that Nigeria is not the only country in the world with problems and challenges.
The rumours were dismissed by the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. James F. Entwistle, at a press conference during the premiere of the movie, Selma, in Lagos last weekend.
Entwistle said Nigeria is not different from all other countries in the world with various degrees of challenges, stressing that would not make the countries to split.
