Former US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama to produce films, documentaries for Netflix

Former US President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have finalized a contract with American entertainment company Netflix for production of films and documentaries.
The company made the announcement in statement on Monday. whiteout mentioning how much money the couple will receive by entering into the “multi-year agreement.”
The wide-ranging contract was said to include the potential for scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries and feature films.
“One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider audience,” Obama said in a statement. “That’s why Michelle and I are so excited to partner with Netflix – we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world.”
Obama has previously appeared on TV shows such as “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman” or “Between Two Ferns” with comedian Zach Galifianakis to promote his agenda.
This is while the current president of the United States, Donald Trump, rose to fame through reality TV.
