A Nigerian woman has narrated how nurses told her to buy a thermometer before they can attend to her daughter.
Taking to her Facebook page, the mum identified as, Mmiri Mara Ugo Emenaha, stated that the incident occurred at a popular Children’s Hospital in Onitsha.
According to Mmiri, her baby was down with incessant fever but the nurses at the Children’s hospital in Onitsha allegedly told her to buy a thermometer before checking her.
She wrote on Facebook:
Imagine taking a baby to a popular children’s hospital at court road Onitsha and being told by the nurses to buy a thermometer before the complaint of incessant night fever can be looked into.Nursing and Midwifery Council Nigeria.
