From the pre-election, Election and post-election, President BAT has proven beyond Reasonable doubt of his readiness for practicals and progressive governance and why he has selected capable hands to make up his cabinet and more reason Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo was appointed as the Honourable Minister of Interior for him to bring to fore his wealth of experience, capacities and service to the good people of Nigeria.
While we watch with keen interest recent happenings to his person as regard informations of a company with him as director been awarded contracts in the Humanitarian Ministry, it is on record that the honourable minister has resigned from the said company before his inauguration even as honourable member in the 9th assembly of the National Assembly, hence, transactions, dealings and working of the company should not be accredited to him.
Equally, worthy of note is that the company is a limited company who has the full capacity to carry out projects for clients who deemed it fit to have service rendered to them by the company, if the ministry of Humanitarian and poverty alleviation has found them worthy to deliver, why not?
Witch-hunting of the performing minister is a disservice to his effort and best that he is discharging at the moment, just yesterday, the portal for online passport application was launched after many landmarks attained in the few months in office as minister.
While we applaud His Excellency for his recent actions on investigation of ministries and the suspension of minister, we must as patriotic Nigerians criticize with due diligence, facts and in a constructive manners.
His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must look beyond mere criticism spurred by hatred and jealousy.
The Minister of interior has recorded quite a reasonable amount of progress in the few months in office and he has gained the confidence of the southwest youth, Hence, we hereby pass a vote of confidence on the honourable Minister of Interior. Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Signed
Rt. Hon. Temitope E. Joseph,
