The Kwara State Police Command’s Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) has concluded plans to host a palliative program and award ceremony to mark its 40th anniversary.
Sho Pen Online reports the event, tagged “Caring for Those Who Serve the Nation: A Food Palliative for Police Widows,” is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Police Officers’ Mess in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara State.
During the ceremony, the Kwara PCRC will present Awards of Excellence to individuals recognized for their significant contributions to maintaining security, peace, and tranquility in the state.
Among the award recipients are the Kwara Commissioner of Police, CP Olaiya Jimoh Mobolaji; Personal Assistant to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Murtala Raheem; Barrister Abdulkareem Alabi, aide to Senator Saliu Mustapha; and several other prominent individuals.
