Lagos, February 27, 2025 – In a bid to promote public health and preventive healthcare, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) Muslim Community (LAMUC) has teamed up with the Lagos Medical Guild to organize the 2025 Ramadan Free Medical Counseling and Health Screening.
The initiative, set to take place on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at LASTMA Headquarters, Oshodi, aims to provide free medical consultations and health screenings for Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Bamgbasa Sulaiman, Ameer of LAMUC, emphasized the importance of early detection and proactive health management. He highlighted that LASTMA personnel must prioritize their well-being, a goal strongly supported by the agency’s management.
"It is imperative for everyone to be aware of their health status. Preventive healthcare is key, and we encourage all Muslims to take advantage of this opportunity for expert medical consultations and assessments," he said.
He further reiterated that "health is wealth," urging attendees to participate in the free medical exercise for professional health guidance and essential check-ups.
The partnership between LASTMA Muslim Community and the Lagos Medical Guild underscores their commitment to holistic well-being—both physical and spiritual. The initiative aligns with their core values of service, compassion, and humanitarian support.
