A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare (popularly known as OGO), has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Owo/Ose and across the state as they celebrate Eid-ul-Adha.
In a personally signed statement, Ogundare congratulated the Muslim faithful and urged them to reflect on the deeper meaning of the festival, which centers on sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering faith in God.
He described the celebration as a moment to renew spiritual values, demonstrate compassion, and recommit to the common good.
“Eid-ul-Adha teaches us that in giving, we grow; in sacrificing, we rise; and in faith, we find strength,” he said, adding that the festival serves as a reminder to all—regardless of religious affiliation—of the importance of selflessness, unity, and building a society founded on love and mutual respect.
Ogundare encouraged Muslims to use the occasion to support the less privileged and to pray for peace, development, and prosperity across Nigeria.
He also reaffirmed his dedication to community development and youth empowerment, pledging to continue championing causes that enhance social welfare.
He concluded his message with prayers for divine blessings, peace, and joy for all families during the festive season, saying, “Eid Mubarak!”
