A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Prince Azeez Momoh has disclosed that ongoing media campaigns against the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, would end up in fiasco.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his aide, Ayodele Odudu with all the ARM TEAM,the Ikare-born politician urged sponsors of media campaign against Aiyedatiwa to eschew the acts for the progress of the party in the state.
He said, “The ongoing media smear campaign against Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will end in futility because his outstanding performance in office has already overshadowed such baseless propaganda.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has recorded remarkable achievements across all sectors — from massive infrastructure renewal to improved healthcare services, educational development, agricultural support programmes, workers’ welfare, and strengthened security. These milestones stand as undeniable evidence of purposeful leadership and progressive governance.
“It is clear that the people of Ondo State appreciate the Governor’s efforts in repositioning the state for growth, and no amount of blackmail can erase these achievements.
“Those behind the media attacks are therefore urged to desist and place the progress of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the collective interest of Ondo State above selfish ambitions.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown rare leadership qualities by respecting party structures, engaging stakeholders inclusively, and ensuring even distribution of projects across the state.
“For these reasons, any attempt to discredit him through falsehood or propaganda is not only misplaced but dromedary to fail.
“Mr. Azeez Momoh calls on all well-meaning citizens and party members to rally behind Governor Aiyedatiwa, so that the state can continue to enjoy peace, unity, and unprecedented development.
