The Online Media Professionals of Nigeria (OMP), Ondo State Chapter, has formally inaugurated its new leadership at the NUJ Press Centre, Alagbaka, Akure, in a ceremony attended by notable figures in the media industry.
The event drew prominent personalities, including Prince Leke Adegbite, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ondo State Council, who congratulated the newly elected executives and urged online media practitioners to maintain credibility in their reporting.
He assured the association of NUJ’s continued support for professional collaborations and capacity-building initiatives.
Joseph Adesuyan, the newly inaugurated Chairman of OMP, expressed his commitment to working with his team to strengthen the association’s influence and foster unity among members.
"We are determined to promote unity among members and ensure that OMP remains a force to be reckoned with in the sunshine state," Adesuyan added.
He also thanked the NUJ chairman and other stakeholders for their support, pledging that training, welfare, and inclusiveness would be prioritized under the new leadership.
