Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, has announced the nomination of two commissioner-designates and approved the appointment of several aides following a recent cabinet reshuffle.
In a letter forwarded to the Katsina State House of Assembly, Governor Radda submitted the names of Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa for confirmation as commissioners.
The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula-Mohammed. According to the statement, the governor also approved the appointment of Suleiman Namadi as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.
Additionally, Jamila Salman, Ibrahim Danjuma, and Alhaji Muddasir Mati were appointed as Senior Special Assistants in various capacities. Musa Dankawu and Abdulfatah Kafur were also named as Special Assistants to the governor.
Governor Radda expressed confidence in the ability of the new appointees to effectively discharge their duties and contribute to the development of the state.
“I expect you to hit the ground running. This appointment is a call to service. Work with focus, deliver results and make the people proud,” the governor said.
He further directed the appointees to align with his administration’s agenda of building a better future for the people of Katsina State and to work toward fulfilling campaign promises made to the electorate.
