The College of Former Speakers of the Delta State House of Assembly have extended warm felicitations to the incumbent Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on the occasion of his 47th birth anniversary.
In a statement issued by their spokesman, Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, the former Speakers commended Guwor for his exemplary leadership and commitment to legislative excellence since assuming office as Speaker of the 8th Assembly.
Ochei noted that Guwor, who also serves as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures in Nigeria, has demonstrated remarkable capacity in steering the affairs of the Assembly with maturity, fostering unity among members, and strengthening the institution’s role in promoting good governance in Delta State.
According to the statement, the former Speakers expressed pride in Guwor’s achievements, describing him as a worthy ambassador of the legislative arm whose tenure continues to inspire confidence among stakeholders.
They further praised his dedication to service, humility, and collaborative approach to governance, which they said has contributed to a stable and productive Assembly.
The ex-Speakers also prayed for continued wisdom, good health, and greater accomplishments for the Speaker as he marks the milestone.
Guwor, who represents Warri South-West Constituency, has been widely acknowledged for his inclusive leadership style and commitment to advancing the legislative agenda of the state.
