Senator Ede Dafinone of Delta Central Senatorial District has extended warm birthday wishes to Stella Okotete as she marks her 42nd birthday, commending her contributions to leadership, public service, and national development.
In a goodwill message issued on the occasion, Dafinone, on behalf of his family and constituents, celebrated Okotete’s achievements and described her as a dedicated leader whose career reflects purpose, excellence, and commitment to making a positive impact.

The lawmaker particularly acknowledged Okotete’s role in the growth and development of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State. He noted that her tenure as the party’s former National Woman Leader significantly contributed to strengthening its internal structure and expanding its reach at the grassroots level.
According to Dafinone, Okotete’s efforts in mobilising women and promoting inclusiveness within the party have left a lasting impact. “As a former National Woman Leader, you played a pivotal role in strengthening the party’s structure, mobilising women, and expanding its grassroots reach. Your leadership in that regard remains impactful and worthy of commendation,” he stated.
Beyond her political engagements, the senator also highlighted Okotete’s commitment to youth empowerment and economic inclusion, describing her initiatives in these areas as both inspiring and transformative. He noted that she has consistently created opportunities for young Nigerians to develop and thrive.
Dafinone further praised her professional accomplishments, particularly her service as Executive Director, Business Development at the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM Bank). He said her performance in that role demonstrates her competence and dedication to advancing Nigeria’s economic interests.
