In a strongly worded statement released Thursday, the party characterized the claims as "false and misleading," asserting that the reports are a calculated attempt by internal and external detractors to sow discord within the party’s ranks.
The rebuttal, issued by the State Publicity Secretary, Valentine Onojeghuo, described the allegations as politically motivated fabrications intended to undermine the party’s internal democratic processes. The party’s leadership further warned that the misinformation appears to be the work of individuals prioritized by personal ambition rather than the collective progress of the APC.
