SAPELE–DELTA STATE - On Wednesday, May 13, the quiet grounds of Ayomanor Primary School, along Okpe Road, Sapele LGA, transformed into a pulsating arena of purpose and possibility. It was here that Comrade Success Dada officially declared his intention to contest for the Delta State House of Assembly, Sapele Constituency—a declaration that turned a schoolyard into the stage for a new chapter in Sapele’s political journey.
The ceremony drew a formidable convergence of leadership and loyalty: the entire Sapele LGA Executive, party stalwarts, community leaders, and a sea of teeming supporters from youth groups, market women, artisans, and grassroots organizations. It was not merely a declaration—it was a homecoming of hope.
A Mandate for Meaningful Development
Speaking in a special interview with newsmen, Comrade Dada articulated a vision anchored in action, not rhetoric.
“My intention to run for the DTHA is to bring meaningful development to the good people of my constituency,” he stated. “For too long, Sapele has been lagging behind in representation. The time has come to bridge that gap with purposeful legislation and proactive engagement.”
He lauded the Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Elder Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, JP, for “making Deltans proud” through visible, people-centered governance. Dada pledged his unalloyed loyalty and full support to the governor and vowed to align his legislative priorities with the MORE AGENDA—a blueprint for accelerated growth and sustainable impact.
“It’s Youth O’Clock”: A Voice for the Voiceless
Declaring that “It’s Youth O’Clock,” Dada positioned himself as the bridge between the corridors of power and the streets of Sapele.
“As a young man, I will speak the voice of the market women, the artisans, the elderly, and the common man in the streets who are yearning for positive representation,” he affirmed. “I know Sapele’s pain. I am ready to bring the gains.”
He emphasized that the moment calls for substance over sentiment:
“It is not time to tell stories to Sapele Constituency, but to bring the glory from Asaba. I am well prepared for the processes.”
A Call for Unity and Transformation
Closing his address, Comrade Dada appealed to party leaders and faithful to rally behind his aspiration for the sake of the constituency’s future.
“I appeal to our party leaders and faithful to support and nominate me for good and better representation. Supporting me is supporting positive transformation and change.”
The declaration at Ayomanor was more than a political event—it was a clarion call. For a constituency yearning for visibility, voice, and verifiable progress, Comrade Success Dada has stepped forward with both conviction and a clear mandate.
Sapele stood still on May 13. The question now is whether the party and the people will rise with it.
