Dafinone Congratulates Orodje of Okpe on 20th Coronation Anniversary

Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central Senatorial District, has congratulated the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Orhue I, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), CFR, mni, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his coronation and ascension to the throne.
In a goodwill message, the senator, on behalf of the Dafinone family, the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, and the entire Urhobo Nation, described the monarch's two decades on the throne as a remarkable period of purposeful, visionary, and impactful traditional leadership.
Dafinone noted that the anniversary marks not only a significant milestone in the history of the Okpe Kingdom but also reflects God's faithfulness and the monarch's unwavering commitment to the unity, progress, and prosperity of his people.
According to the lawmaker, the kingdom has witnessed remarkable economic and political growth, strengthened traditional institutions, increased its influence in national affairs, and enjoyed sustained peace and stability under the reign of the Orodje.
He commended the royal father for his fatherly leadership, which he said has promoted unity among the people, attracted meaningful development, and enhanced the prestige of the Okpe Kingdom both within and beyond Delta State.
"As Your Majesty celebrates this historic anniversary, we join the sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom, the Urhobo Nation, and well-wishers across Nigeria in thanking Almighty God for preserving and blessing your reign," Dafinone stated.
The senator prayed for God to grant the monarch continued good health, divine wisdom, strength, and many more years on the throne to continue providing exemplary leadership rooted in justice, compassion, and dignity.
He also expressed confidence that the Orodje's reign would continue to serve as a symbol of peace, cultural heritage, and sustainable development for future generations.
Dafinone concluded his message with the traditional Okpe salutation: "Umogun! Umogun!! Umogun!!! WU NE SU TOR, WU NA RE TOR."
