Triumphantly, the Lord came riding on a colt, the foal of a donkey, “….on which no one has ever sat” (Mark 11:2), duly prepared for such a noble task. “Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He is just and having salvation, lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.” (Zachariah 9:9)
The Lord will still march triumphantly, not just through Jerusalem but through the entire world; no longer mounted on a foal of a donkey, nor any other animal, but inside prepared human vessels, made whole and prepared for His use. He marches triumphantly inside as many that would say Lord, here am I, use me.
Thus, the Lord has need of you, to shine radiantly through you in this dark and gloomy world, reflecting His glory, declaring His righteousness, telling of His great might and proclaiming His salvation and kingdom. He mounted and marched on a donkey, and He will even do more with you. He will march triumphantly in your life, and then as you lift His banner, He will march triumphantly through you.
