The United States has carried out a new wave of airstrikes targeting Yemen’s central province of al-Bayda and the provinces of Sa’ada and Hudaydah, marking a renewed escalation in the ongoing aggression against the Arab country.
Yemeni media outlets, citing local sources, said five airstrikes hit the vocational institute in the al-Sawma’ah district of al-Bayda province late on Saturday.
The strikes reportedly caused significant damage to the facility, which serves as the region's key educational and training center.
In a separate assault, three US airstrikes targeted the al-Sahleen area in the Kitaf wa al-Boqe’e district of the northwestern city of Sa’ada.
The area lies near Yemen’s northern frontier and is frequently targeted in the ongoing US aggression.
Moreover, US warplanes carried out two raids on the al-Munirah district in Yemen’s western coastal province of Hudaydah.
No immediate reports about possible casualties and the extent of the destruction have been released.
In response to continued Israeli aggression against Gaza and ongoing US-UK aggression against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a series of attacks targeting Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and surrounding areas.
As the genocidal war against Gaza intensified, the Yemenis implemented a strategic blockade of key maritime routes, aiming to disrupt the flow of military supplies to their adversaries and exert pressure on the international community to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have said they will not stop their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial offensives in Gaza end.
