The APC Founding Leader, Olorogun O'tega Emerhor OON; today 6th June 2025, hosted the All Progressive Congress (APC) Ughelli North Local Government Area. The unity meeting was held in his hometown,Evwreni, Ughelli North LGA, Delta State.
In a significant development and move to solidify the party and mobilize her members to support the President and the Governor, the entire members, leaders and stakeholders of All Progressive Congress (APC), Ughelli North Local Government Area, Passed a vote of confidence on the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and on the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori following a motion moved by Prof S.W.E Ibodje and seconded by Hon. Chief Samuel Mariere, was unanimously adopted by all members present.
In his welcome address, the founding leader thanked the elders, leaders and stakeholders of the party for attending the Unity meeting to resolve and work together for the betterment and growth of the party, the essence of this Unity meeting is to erase the dichotomy between the old APC and the new APC members which will be performed by the State Chairman who was in attendance.
Olorogun O'tega Emerhor OON stated
"I am so glad that MY DREAMS TO SEE APC OCCUPY THE GOVERNOR SEAT OF DELTA STATE, has come to a reality.
He also stated that he is fully convinced that; Ughelli North Local Government Area will give Mr president and the Governor a block vote in the forthcoming election 2027.
Furthermore, Olorogun O'tega ensured everyone of his continuous support for the party and members as a listening father and Leader.
In addition, Emerhor OON appealed to the elders and leaders of the party from the various wards in the local government area to reach out to our brothers and friends who are aggrieved in one way or the other and those in other mushroom party to come and join the part.
Many political dignitaries from different wards across Ughelli North local Government Area, were in attendance.
The motion for the confidence vote was moved by Prof. S.W.E. Ibodje and seconded by Hon. Chief Samuel Mariere, before receiving full endorsement from all party members present.
He further urged leaders and ward executives across the local government to reach out to aggrieved members and those in smaller political platforms, inviting them to join forces for the 2027 elections.
Let us reconcile with our brothers and sisters, bring them back home, and work together to deliver overwhelming victory for APC for the President, our Governor, and all APC candidates in the next general elections, he appealed.

the State Party Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie, and other prominent leaders of the party in the local government, including; founding leader of Delta State APC, Olorogun Otega Emerhor (OON), Former SSG, Rt. Hon. Festus Ovie Agas, Chief Terry Noah, Olorogun Jaro Egbo Ksc the council Chairman of Ughelli North LGA, Hon Samuel Mariere, Prof S. W. E Iboje, Hon Spencer Ohwofa , Hon Onoriode Agufure, and many other.
However, Hon Stella Erhuvwuoghene Okotete and Olorogun Fred Okiemute Majemite who was unavoidably absent but sent their representives.
